Description
Make your own Adirondack chair from start to finish. This is a hands-on, step-by-step woodworking class where you will develop a comprehensive understanding of furniture making skills. This 15 hour course is designed to teach you the building blocks through a simple, comfortable, eye-pleasing piece of rustic beauty that you get to take home with you.
The following materials should be purchased and brought to the first night of class:
- 4 – 4′ Long x 7 1/4″ Wide Planks – Pine, Cedar or Redwood
- 73 – 3/4″ coarse drywall screws
Some equipment will be available but, if you would like to work with your own tools, below is an optional list to bring:
- 3/8″ Fostner Bit
- Power Drill
- Basic Combination Square (Stanley or Starrett)
- Orbital Sander
- Sanding Discs (120 grit)
