Description
Per the Massachusetts State Building Code, 780 CMR 110.R5, an “Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License allows an individual to directly supervise persons engaged in the construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal or demolition” involving any activity regulated by 780 CMR in respect to buildings less than 35,000cubic feet. This course is based on the new 10th edition and will help prepare you for the MA licensing exam. You will learn how to navigate the required books, receive best strategies for the exam, work with practice exams, and receive support from the instructor .
Our instructor, Patricia Sheehan, is the Building Commissioner in the town of Shrewsbury and has been providing instruction for the CSL exam for 10 years. .
As part of class tuition, students will receive these necessary textbooks: 2021 International Building Code; 2021 International Residential Code; 2021 International Energy Conservation Code; Mass Amendments for IBC (10th edition); Mass Amendments for the IRC (10th edition); the 521 CMR Regulations; 29 CFR OSHA 1926 Construction Standard.
CSL Exam Classes will run Monday evenings from 5:30pm -7:30pm. Dates: Mondays: January 26, 2026 – March 23, 2026 (No Class Mon February 16th) .
