Build a Simple Shaker Table Spring 2026

Description

Dates: Thursdays, March 12 to May 7 (no class 4/23/26);  Time: 6-9:00pm, 8 classes, 24 hours.

Fee: $165, plus cost of materials ($125.00, paid to the instructor at first class).

Note: Class is capped at 8 students.

Location: Worcester Technical High School, 1 Officer Manny Familia Way

Students will learn how to:

*Set & use a hand plane

*Create a spring joint

*Layout and excavate mortises

*Layout, cut, and drawbore tenons

*Taper legs

All tools will be available for students to use. A tool list will be sent out before the start of class if you would like to bring your own.

This class is appropriate for all levels of woodworking skills.
